I have now decided I have a love hate relationship with instant messaging. I think the idea of it is great, and very useful, but! I just can’t seem to grasp it anymore. I don’t like it because it is instant, I think.
I rarely text or talk with an IM, mainly because I don’t casually talk to a lot of people but more so because I think I try and say to much or don’t know what to say. I much rather e-mail, odd I know, but with an e-mail I can type out what I want to say, look back at it and make sure it is correct. We all know my spelling and grammar skills are very limited, so I like the extra time to reply.
I think it goes back to my socially awkwardness. I just don’t have the opportunity to do it that often so I am not accustom to it. That and my mind is very business oriented and I always think someone is judging me by how I present myself.
Who Knows.

not knowing what to say has nothing to do with social awkwardness. Personally I believe email is left for importsnt situations and conversations. Thats just my perception on it. And IM’ing and texting isn’t for everyone.
