Kitchen table Jeep thought.

I am sitting at the table in our kitchen eating breakfast. I just started the company vehicle and started to think about my Jeep. It is currently in the shop getting looked at, as you know. I then started to think about how the timing couldn’t have been better for it to break a line of some sort.

It already needed to go in due to a minor fuel issue, I think, but of course I procrastinate because I don’t have a lot of money and I wouldn’t be without a vehicle. So now having it break a fluid line rendering it undrivable and me leaving town in a 2 day the perfect time to go into the shop is here. I wont need it while away so they can have it for a full week.

The one down fall though, is of course money. As I will be going away I will not be working and I will most likely be spending a little more. Such is life though.

Jeep is in the shop!

Yesterday my Jeep decided spit out a bunch of fluid while I was waiting for it to warm up. Sadly I didn’t know what it was. First thought was Tranny Fluid cause it was orange, but then I remembered that Tranny Fluid is red, and I even check it. I then thought it was oil for some reason, don’t know why.

Then this morning I scheduled it to go into a local mechanic shop and I thought I would have to get it towed there. Of course me being me I decided I would “try” to drive it there as it is only a block or two away. When I fired it up, it made its noise it made the day before, but as I backed out I realized that the steering wheel was solid, which then brought me to the idea that it was a Power-Steering line I broke, which made sense.

HDR Testing

I can not be certain that, that is the problem, but I am hoping that it is the problem. It is also getting checked out for a RMP issue it seems to have when driving and idling.
