Odd to say really. Granted it is confirmed but Obama has not yet made his official announcement.

I did want to think about it for a minute though. I remember when I was 12 years old and on a snowmobile trip in Yellowknife when, I guess, the President Bush declared war.

Now ten years later I just got home, sat down with dinner and flicked on Family Guy and all of a sudden a Breaking News story pops up that Osama Bin Laden is dead.

Then, naturally, I go to Twitter and join in the crazy fast conversation around the news stories.

Where are you ten years again, where are you today?

UPDATE: Obama is giving his speech right now. I do enjoy a good Obama statement. He just really seems to know how to deliver a good, smooth speech.
