I’m an Apple product lover, I don’t know if I would call my self Apple obsessed but everything I own is Apple. It is this way because I like their products, they fit my life and work how I want them to. I have no complaints about them.

Ironically I have found watching other smartphone makers commercials more enjoyable, like this one by Samsung. They are eye catchy and draw me in with effects and fun music. They are fun to watch, over and over again. They don’t really make me want a their phone though, what they do is make me want to get up and move or figure out how they did that effect in the middle. Nothing about the actual phone. This is where Apple has the floor.

Keeping in mind, a commercial isn’t what decides which phone I’m going to get. Apple nails down the WHY in their commercials. Why do people need this phone. They have commercials that tell you why Doctors, Teachers and Parents use them. They add a, soft, narration with classical soothing music. They don’t spin the phone around on the screen as someone dances to music, or shows you some analogy of why the phone is cool. Apple is going to pull at your heart-strings and give you real life applications of how the phone is used (not to be mistaken with how the phone works).

So one commercial is fun to watch and has a catchy beat and the other gives you reason and shows you why you need it. I find it shows how each company thinks and delivers a product. Although Apple has the market share and is making billions of dollars, they project an image that shows they care about their customers and want to give them something that works for them.
