I want to be the Ultimate BMW Blogger

Gather the tropes I need your help. I found this contest online, where you enter to be a BMW Blogger. So I enter, obviously. I love blogging, I am so deadly passionate about, that I probably write about anything. There is one other thing I am passionate about though, which is driving. Driving anything. Naturally, I think, I am a fit for this job.

BMW Post

The idea is I ask my friends offline and on to vote for my story about why I should be the BMW Blogger. I suppose that is what I am doing.

It seems kind of selfish to ask you all to vote but yet here I am. I hope you see it in you to vote for me. At the current moment the top person has thousands of votes, so i don’t know what my chances are but it is worth a shot.

An Anti-Bullying Pink Shirt Day Message

Today being Anti-bullying, wear Pink Shirt Day, I thought I would make this little video showing my support. I think the whole idea of this day is to not only try to make fact the bully is happening aware to everyone, but to also show support for those who are getting bullied, and to show them we care. I genuinely feel for people who are getting bullied. An anger builds inside of me when I see it, and my first thought is to intervene.

I just share my history with bullying, although probably insignificant to many, I just want people to know that I care.

No, I am number four

Saw I Am Number Four last night and it was meh. Meh in the sense that It felt like the movie never really finished, it never really hit a climax.

Spoiler Alert: I give away the simple plot that makes this movie.

We meet John, John is different from another planet. He is running, running from big ugly alien linebackers. He is tired of running. John meets girl, then the cycle goes like: in love, not in love, in love, not in love, but finally they are in love, but he has to leave.

They fight big uglies and meeting Number Six, she’s hot and Aussie. Nerd kids gets involved, cause Dad was a UFO chaser and he is good at xBox.

I Am Number Four

The movie is a good little high-school action flick, unlike Twilight which is completely boring. I suppose one reason for not have a high impact storyline is this is a trilogy and they have to keep some stuff at bay for future movie, right? What action movie these days isn’t made for a sequel?

If you go, which if you just want a movie to go see to let your mind wonder I recommend it, let me know what you think below.

The Smell of the house

Do you think the occupants of a house make the smell for the place or does a smell come naturally. My apartment still smells the same as it did when I moved it, I think. Same with the new place I’m going. It has a distinct smell.
Many things could mask a smell of a house itself. Bad BO, good BO, air fresheners and of course food.
So is a smell occupant made or natural?

REVIEW: First time at Diner on 93rd

After a long day of work, I found myself sitting in a room filled with families, seniors and rig workers all looking for a good meal. This was the first time I had gone to Diner on 93rd. I would actually say that it isn’t a diner, but isn’t quite fancy dining.

I often wondered if it would be a replacement for Uptown Grill, but I don’t think that is the case. Diner on 93rd definitely caters to the families and the groups for quick family meal. Prices range from $10-$20, Which is reasonable for a restaurant in Fort St. John. The menu wasn’t the biggest although it did seem to have the selection. There were things like pork tenderloin, shepherds pie, burgers and fries, steak and a small selection of pasta.

Menu for Diner on 93

The menu being smaller than most left me actually stumped as to what I was going to order. I ended up deciding to go with the chicken linguine. Once we’d ordered which didn’t take very long, as the restaurant wasn’t that busy at that time, it only took about 15 min. for our meals to arrive. So let’s get into this chicken linguine.

Chicken Alfredo

They say chicken linguine, I say chicken Alfredo, either way it’s the same dish. I often find it’s really hard to make the chicken in the chicken linguini not so bland, it seems that the Diner on 93rd has the same dilemma, or maybe that’s just me. The meal is something that I could definitely cook myself, and I have before. I’m fairly certain that the creamy sauce or Alfredo sauce was just bought from the grocery store. I also found it slightly watery, which made eating it a slight challenge as I tend to get my meal everywhere. The garlic toast on the other hand was a little odd. The garlic toast was soggy and very thin. It was only garlic on one side and I don’t think it was actually toasted. Overall though I did enjoy the meal and was happy to not have to cook it myself.

For meal that was only $15, especially for supper was quite good. I don’t know how often I will return, but I do know I will be back at some point. They tell me the location used to be a Joey’s Seafood, which really shows when you’re inside the restaurant. It is a very similar atmosphere as well as food selection.

If you want a quick and relatively cheap meal for supper I suggest you go check out Diner 93rd. When you do leave me a comment, right here below.
