Questionable about Adobe Flash

This was meant for Facebook but ended up to long. Please share your thoughts.

What is everyone thoughts on Flash? I’ve disliked full Flash websites since day one, but some design companies keep making them.
The iPhone has never supported flash but because of it small screen it wasn’t really an issue, but now with the iPad and its ability to show full webpages it seems that Apple really is pushing for HTML5.
Flash is good for somethings like advertisements and online video, but do you think we should move away from it? When you think about it, it does seem odd that you have to have flash downloaded in order to make certain function work, should websites be fully compatible with a standard web browser?

Thoughts on the iPad

I thought I would spend sometime today and write out my thoughts on the iPad, a new Apple device I happened to purchase the day of its launch.

Overall I keep telling people that it is just as good or better than expected. As a heavy iPhone user, this is something I was longing for as I could see the potential in the device but found its size hard to use. At the same time I have heard many complain that it is to big, men break out those man purses, and to hard to carry around. I personally don’t think so, but I’m someone who often has a backpack or messenger bag with my MacBook Pro in it. I can definitely see this device allowing me to leave that MacBook at home. Carrying the device is much like carrying a 8.5×11 notebook around or even a hardcover book for that matter, as iPad is also being marketed as an e-reader.

Tweeting What I Want

Not to name, names and they do have there own opinions but if you don’t like all the talk about the new Apple product just shot off Twitter for the day.

Here is my opinion on this kind of thing. I like to think it is a passion of mine to keep up with the tech news and especially Apple News. I like Apple’s stuff, I don’t know why but I do and I don’t want to try and defend it. I just do, and shouldn’t need too. Anyways when I see people complaining about how there are to many tweets about the Apple announcement I think they need to step back for a second. Obviously there is a reason for all the tweet and I know there are multiples of the same things but when it comes to Social Media and Tech this is a big thing. Hell Apple kept saying “The Internet in your hands”.

If people are tweeting about it, it is because they want to and are passionate about it. My advise to those who don’t like all the tweet is unfollow or turn twitter off for the period of the hype. In a couple day it will all go away and we’ll move on to the next big thing.
